SCARF MADE FROM TWO DIFFERENT YARNS
Materials:
• Approx. 50 yards each of two different soft yarns.*
• Size 15 or 17 needles
* These may be different weights, and should be colors that compliment one another.
Instructions:
Starting with yarn #1, cast on 12 stitches (or enough to make a scarf 5-inches wide but not wider)
- Knit 2 rows with Yarn #1. Do not cut.
- Attach Yarn #2. Knit 2 rows. Do not cut.
- Move the strand of Yarn #2 to the back. Knit 2 rows with #1.
- Move #1 to the back. Knit 2 rows with #2.
Continue in the same manner until the scarf measures 60-inches in length. Bind off. Weave in ends.
