EMBELLISHED KNITTED WRAP AND DROP COMFORT SCARF
Materials:
• Size 15 needles or whatever size you need to make a scarf 4-5-inches wide
• Soft 4-ply yarn (about 110 yards)
• Fun Fur or other eyelash yarn – about 12 yards, divided into 2 equal balls
Instructions:
Cast on 10, 11, or 12 stitches (or however many you need to make a scarf up to 5-inches wide) with the first ball of the fun fur.
Knit all rows garter stitch until you run out of fun fur, and complete that row.
Then begin the wrap and drop pattern.
– Row 1: (Wrap row) knit 1, *yarn over (YO), knit 1* to end of row
– Row 2: (Drop row) knit 1, *drop the wrapped (YO) stitch, knit 1* to the end of row
– Row 3: Knit all stitches
– Row 4: Knit all stitches
Repeat this pattern until you have knit at least 59 inches (or until the end of the smooth yarn). Then knit all rows of the remaining fun fur in garter stitch; bind off. Weave in ends.
